As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill insurance providers. If you have not met your deductible or your insurance declines paying, you will be responsible for the amount not covered by your insurance. Medicare only covers medical eye exams and will not cover a routine eye exam or the refraction (checking the glasses prescription). The refraction fee is $20 which you will be responsible for at the time of the exam.
